Currently trending in Melbourne are Birkenstocks, Espadrilles and runners. Now the Birks aren't for everyone, admittedly it took me a while to accept this fashion trend, but teamed correctly with the right clothing pieces (i love flippy skirts to add a feminine touch) you can look fab. It was Ms Kerr who donned a pair of Birkenstocks for the UK Vogue September issue which had seemingly catapulted the style. In addition, I adore Espadrilles and the countless colours and prints they come in however, unlike the Birks and runners, if you're on your feet for longer than five hours your ankles tend to get sore due to the lack of support. And finally the runners, particularly the Nike's, look so sleek with fitted jeans or sports tights. Style has never been so comfortable.
